Wessell is my mother’s maiden name, and she is as unfamiliar with her Wessell side as I am. I have lots of conflicting information concerning this family. I hope to find out more but it is going to take some time. Stay tuned…

I will begin the short lineage that I have, so far, with my mother:

Marcella M.Wessell  b. 1929 in Detroit is the third of four daughters born to Bertram E. Wessell  b. abt 1902 (possibly Indiana, possibly California, possibly Colorado, depending on which document you are looking at), and Pearl Emma Clara Robertshaw  b. 18 Feb 1907 in Detroit  -  d. 15 Nov 1979 in St. Petersburgh, Fla.
Bert and Pearl were married in Detroit on 24 June 1925.
Bertram was the son of Joseph Wessell and Pauline.
