Victoria Robertshaw (b. ca 1842) - the eldest child of William
and Mary - and Alex Bosley (b. ca 1840) were married 16 April 1860 in East
Gwillimbury, Ontario, Canada. They had two children - both daughters.
The first child was born
10 August 1860 in New Market, Ontario, and they named her Mary Elizabeth.
Their second daughter, Lydia Ann (who went by the name Anna), was born
in Ontario around 1864.
Mary married a man by the name of Charles Wilson and the two had three
daughters. At this time, I only know the name of one of their daughters,
Victoria. The other two I only know by their married surnames of Seely
and Wolf.
Victoria Wilson married a man named James A. Munro in Port Huron, Michigan
on 25 June 1896. As far as I know, Victoria and James did not have children.
More research is to be done on any possible descendents.
Victoria and Alex’s other daughter, Lydia Ann (who I shall refer
to from this point on as ANNA, as that was what she was known as), married
a man named George Sweet. Anna and George had two children, Bessie (b.
18 March 1880 in Canada)
and Elmyra (b. 11 Dec 1884).
Bessie, who worked as a dressmaker, married Paul Lewanski (b. ca 1887)
on
5 December 1907 in Port Huron, Mi. They had one child that I know of
for sure - a daughter named Pauline, who was born in 1909. Pauline married
someone by the name of Watson.
They may possibly have had one son, also, named Carl. More research
is to be done on this.
Elmyra married Donald McKay in Port Huron and they had two daughters
- Ethel (b. ca 1904) and Thelma (b. ca 1908).
Victoria (Robertshaw) Bosley died at the home of her granddaughter,
Elmyra, on 14th street in Port Huron on 29 March 1922 of heart disease.
(Husband Alex left her a widow sometime before the mid-1880’s)

in Port Huron on 28 August 1914 of Cancer of the Stomach.
