Albert Robertshaw  b. abt 1848 in Canada, was the 4th child
born to William and Mary. A carpenter by trade, he married a woman named
Martha Louisa (I do not know her maiden name at this time) around 1870
and the two had one child together - a daughter named Irena,  b. 1871.
Just two months after Irena's birth, Martha Louisa died of 'consumption'
(which, according to a medical dictionary, means 'a wasting away of the
body, possibly tuberculosis'), at the tender age of 16 years and 10
months.
Thirteen years later, Albert married again, this time to a
woman named Wilhelmina Ritchie. Albert and Wilhelmina had two children
together - one, Mary, while still in Canada, and the other child,
William, after the clan moved to Port Huron in the mid - 1880's.
Albert died in Port Huron from an abscess (according to his
death record) in 1896.
