Elizabeth Dorr  b. 27 July 1789 in Kettering, England -  d. 29 Nov 1857, the wife of Robert Raby, was the daughter of Samuel Dorr  b. abt 1737 in Kettering, and Mary Wilkinson of whom I have absolutely NO information on. Elizabeth was one of 11 children. Samuel and Mary were married on 9 Jan 1761.
Samuel was the 3rd of eight children born to Simon Dorr  b. abt 1707 in Kettering  -  d. bef 1775, and Elizabeth Swingler  b. abt 1710  -  d. 21 Dec 1775. The two were wed on 29 March 1730.
Samuel was one of seven kids born to George Dorr  b. abt 1685 in Kettering  -  d. 25 March 1754, and Hannah Manning, of whom I just have her date of death as 23 Feb 1746/47.
George’s parents were Simon Dorr/Doore (spelled both ways depending on which document you look at) b. abt 1661 in Kettering, and Ann Tingle of which I have no other information on. My eighth great grandparents were married on 12 Feb 1681.
Last but not least is Simon’s father, also named Simon  b. abt 1640 in Kettering  -  d. 13 Nov 1708, and his mother, also named Ann with no further information on.
