It's through the Giorlando side of the family that I am related to the surnames of D’Angelo and Adamo. I will begin with my grandfather, Francesco Giorlando, in explaining my connection with these two surnames.

        Francesco Giorlando  b. 9 Nov 1895, was the son of Matteo Giorlando  b. 2 Feb 1853  -  d. abt 1946,  and  Maria Scibilia  b. 22 Jan 1858  -  d. abt 1937. The two were wed on 25 Nov 1877.
     Matteo was the son of Leonardo Giorlando  b. ca 1823, and Francesca D’Angelo  b. ca 1827. Leonardo and Francesca were married  on 5 Feb 1849.
Francesca’s parents were Matteo D’Angelo  b. ca 1789, and Maria Adamo  b. ca 1790.
